Filmmakers will critically analyse and evaluate scenes to get a better understanding of the shots and angles used. They will learn various shot types and camera movements.

Filmmakers will also have opportunities to copy scenes shot-for-shot to develop camera operating skills and scene blocking. More advanced filmmakers can use their evaluating skills to completely re-shoot scenes if they feel they can make improvements.
